Givaat Harel

Givaat Harel

Givaat Harel was established in 1998 between Eli and Shiloh and named for Harel Oz Ben Nun who was murdered by terrorists in Itzhar.
It is located approximately 700m above sea level and is surrounded by olive groves and wine vineyards that thrive in the mountain climate.
Today the Givaat Harel community has 80 families who are very active and volunteer in different committees on a regular basis. The community has many activities for the different ages, a synagogue, daycare facilities, a playground and library.
Givaat Harel has many businesses, such as a therapy horse farm, a winery, chef restaurant, carpenter, and a ceramic studio.
The many visitors from all over the country and the world are treated to a magnificent view overlooking the Shiloh canyon, Ein Oz pool, an archeological altar and the rare blossoming of the autumn daffodil.
GIvvat Harel took upon itself the goals of settling the land of Israel while being involved with community and social activities, and is contently growing.

Improving community areas

The improvement plan includes setting up pretty sitting corners for the use of the residents of Givaat Harel, resting places for children and youth.

These corners will include, benches, swings, trees, flowers, paths and nice gardens.

These corners invite children, youth and grownups to sit and take a break, breathe clean air and quietude.

The plan is for as many corners as will be able to afford. The more donations we will collect- the more nice corners we will be able to set up..
